i have a 98 mustang and the radiator light keeps coming on in the gauge cluster when it rains. i am not sure what the problem is because it only happens when it rains, and the radiator is less than a year old. I don't really have any more information on it than that... any ideas???

 

only when it rains? So does it happen when you wash the car also? Most likely sounds like a short if that happens when it rains, but when it rains you most likely have your air/heat now that its winter, so maybe something with that. I say try turning your air/heat on and see if anything happens. If not then i would say that its probably a short, but that is just my guess.

 

Very common issue, had the same problem all the time when I would wash the car. I deleted mine when I installed and aftermarket tank so no more light. Not worth worrying about!
