All i know is that im switching to a Pro 5.0 whenever i can because their shifts are soooo short. Like my triax has a better center aligning spring but thats about it. So i think im gonna go with a pro 50.

My triax is just as short as my neighbors pro 5.0? is your lowered all the way down? You would make a smaller handle also.

I have the stock shifter handle on there cus i bought the shifter used. So could getting a shorter handle help at all??? And i think it is lowered all the way down.

well yea.. if your using the stock handle you dont have a STS.. its just a firmer base. lol.

So technically you would have a sts if you just bought a shorter handle and used it on the stock shifter??? And which handle would you recommend??? Pro 50, triax, hurst, upr, other???

Im sure there is something done to the base that reduces the throw a little.. but the majority of the throw is cut down with the smaller handle. there are tons of handles.. I would just buy a triax handle.
