this is the best way to do it


coat them with some good paint and they will be good to go

I cant see it being too much. I can weld so ill just do it myself but i dont think its like that much welding. You should just try and find a buddy that welds and just do them yourself. All my friends know i weld so they pay me to do their exhuasts and what not. Not a bad deal haha.

Do the SFC have to be welded with the weight of the car on its suspension(4 post lift, alignment lift)?

I wouldn't think so simply because you're welding a piece to the frame, the load of the suspension shouldn't affect it, but I could be wrong.

yes. to do it properly, you need to drive the vehicle on a lift, raise it, then weld them up. You dont want to weld them on with a lift that picks up just the body of the car.

+1 cause the body needs to be square and true. So lifting it up evenly from each tire wont twist it at all.
