Cams will run cost you $600 + $200 more if you do aftermarket springs. From what i've seen heads can vary between $1000-$2000. The new Trick Flow heads (which are the best) will run 2 grand.

well im not saying get new heads too though. Just P&p them. and i also understand the whole logic behind buying the blower off that bat but most people dont just have 5k to throw out there at once. At least i dont lol. I buy each mod when i have the money for it. Dont get me wrong i would love to save up and get a blower but im a full time student with a part time job and to drop 5k on a blower isnt really sensable right now haha.

if u want to push 300hp just put a tune on it and get 4.10 gears, and cams would help out a lot also.

260hp at the crank...the other numbers members posted on here are measured at the wheels (after the crank hp runs through the drivetrain).

My guess is the OP is making 235 at the wheels.

4.10 gears add a significant amount of power. will definitely get you closer to 300.

/sarcasm

OP: i would also guess 235, but a guess is a guess.

I made 241.4 with my mods, it was running lean though, so with a proper dyno tune and not a canned one mine might have been 245-250

so with you, i guess around 230-240 would be a safe bet.
