PM'd SXY about his motor.

Do you all know roughly how many hours should be charged for an install of a shortblock; including the install of the heads intake manifold, accesories, etc.

Or would it be cheaper to do an install on a forged rotating assembly?

Any other recommendations on shortblocks? I live `3 miles away from Texas Hot Rods, how are they?

If I were you and was looking for a forged motor with a s/c, I would definetely just focus on sxynerds motor and nothing else. If it falls through then we can help you

Well, the only thing that would stop me from getting his complete setup is:

1. It would take my entire budget JUST for the motor.
2. I dont feel confident in my mechanical abilities to install it my self.
and
3. I wouldnt have the money to tune it, nor add any kind of F.I. to it.

I'm definately taking into consideration the HELL of a deal he has up for sale. And I'd late to let it pass me by. But I have to take into consideration that I need to be able to drive this vehicle in the next 2-3 weeks; and the budget (for now) just wont allow it.

You must not have looked at the link very well as he is selling everything (block, heads, cams, s/c etc etc). Idk if you will need a tune on it but I could be wrong. He will PM you back everything you need to know.

haha, we've already PM'd back and forth. Sorry no S/C unless the price goes up, lol.

OP, I forgot to mention, If you send me your ECU, I'll even give it a base tune for your elevation and for the NA application so you can drive it right away.

haha he beat me to it.... But like I said, his motor is Number 1 on my list right now, just depends on if I can get the extra 500-600 dollars for the install.....

Now back to my questions.....

Oh oh, and how much HP would my stock 4r70w?
