Im looking at recieving 4 grand if I went with the $1500 supercharger could i reliably take my car to 400+ rwhp for 4k? I gave up on the turbo way to much work for minimal gains

 

If you had $4k and did the $1500 s/c w/intercooler you would be ~400rwhp BUT that is taking into consideration that you have done the PI swap but from your sig it doesn't look like you have.

 

give it all to me so i can buy my whipple. k thanx.

in all seriousness, i would use that money to beef up the motor first. then i would add the FI.

Forged rotating assembly
Supercharger would that be good to 400?

 

How about PI heads, cams and intake (or better) + whatever you have left over to go towards a s/c or nitrous?

 

The reason ive been holding of on the whole pi swap deal is cause i think my car already has it, the reason is because ive raced an 02 gt manual and a ram air, smoked both. And i dont get it is there anyway i can check to see if my car is pi swapped with out terring apart the motor,!

 

Take a day and pull the intake off, It's not hard and It will tell you without a doubt whether or not you've got pi heads/intake or just pi intake or npi stuff. Also does your car seem to pull all the way to 5800ish or does it seem to level out around 4500ish?
