Default More HP

Here is the deall. I have a 01' GT, exhaust, gears and SCT tune. That is it. This is not even close to what I want. Anyone have any experience with switching a cobra engine & ECM into a GT. I need input wether to try the switch, or just go find a cobra. OR Should I go with a a procharger and a new set of heads. I am afraid if I go with the new heads/procharger, it may be more trouble than it is woth. Will the procharger make the same power as the screw type blower?????

If you want a cobra motor i would say just buy a cobra... but if you want to keep your car get the procharger and heads and it will be faster than the cobra!

Getting a blower for your gt is going to be a lot cheaper. With that said, if you have the money, and want big power, then get the Cobra.

As to which blower is going to be faster, it all depends. Pound for pound (and everything being equal of course) they'll be similar in a street race, but the twin screw will make that power sooner in the rpm band.

+1.. I think people seriously miss-judge just how much power 400+ is in these cars.

Just buy a blower n be done with it.

I say just buy an 03/04 cobra. I mean my numbers are in my sig and I'm already bored with the power I make.

Their is always a solution for more power lol....It just the funds don't always allow it. Next spring I hope to either go whipple 3.4 or twin turbo.
