IDK which cams you're referring to but, Custom ground cams are silly, go with what people know to work. MPH, makes great turbo cams. Check out the ford turbo forums, they'll point you in the right direction.

I heard some bad things about the TKO's...from lizzyfan. I'd just go with a built t45/t3650 depending on which one originally came in the car. Promotion does a good job with their trannies. I dont know if you remember ox but he was/maybe still is running a promotion PMP750 which is a built t3650 in his case. So look into that. And good luck with your build.

Yea, T56 would be a good option too. I figured that i would suggest another 5 speed incase thats what the op wanted to go with.

Once again, I have seen/heard mixed results with the "built" t-45/3650's
Also don't get me wrong, since have had work done to the TKO it's alot better but it took money to get it that way and in the end it would have been more feasible to go the T-56 route.

I really like what you did here... I like the two smaller turbos that will spool up fast and yes the torque curve on this car is going to be amazing!

And for a stock longblock they will serve their purpose very well. But you will probalby want to run bigger turbos eventually. Like you said they are easily upgradable.
