Talking So new wheels...

Well my friend finally sold his 96 GT and in the process, he took off his AFS machined 18" cobra wheels and im buying them. Most of you have probably seen the posts about snow tires by me. While that would probably have been the best move, im just gonna get these AFS wheels because they come with 315 d/r's already on them, pretty much new front tires, a spare tire for the front wheels, and 2 spare 295 regular spare tires for the rear. All of this for a mere $1100. He said that is negotiable, so im gonna talk to him and see if i can get him to $950-1000. But im gonna take the D/R's off for the winter and run whatever spare tires he has and then put the dr's back on in the spring and wear them then put the regular tires back on. Just thought i'd let everyone know this is my christmas present to myself!!! Im super pumped!!! I cant wait til i get the money for these things.

Haha that we do. lol cant help that they are sexy as hell!!! and i had an offer to buy a set of 18x9/10.5 saleens for $900 with bald d/r's on the back with no backup tires...but i like 18" cobra wheels better. and yes, they are the 10.5 rear wheels too. and they were on my buddy's car...who lives less than a block away from my house so if need be, i can roll them wheel by wheel back to my house...but that would be 7 trips back and forth to his house. lol
