If it's never been changed (stock) it's 28 spline
Could be just a leaking pinion seal

IF your going to replace your stock 28 why not upgrade to a 31 spline LSD and 31 spline axels while your at it?

Sounds like the OP just has a leak, nothing about replacement

Either one has no bearing on the parts you are asking about. The housing is still the same.

Okay so I just bought a new granitelle differential cover so that should take care of the leaking. Where can I find 31 spline axles and led at? Like you said I mine as well upgrade them, it would make sense since I gotta put my new upper and lower control arms on.

where cant you find the upgrade at??? lol lots of places offer the parts needed for the swap. Lethal Performance, American Muscle(discount code?), and other places. Just pick one and go with it.

You are going to have to get the locker also, to change the axels out.You might be doing a over kill here. Just fix the leak, maybe all you need.

So wait, I was looking at getting an aluminum driveshaft from AM. It says that it is a 31 spline? That won't work then if I have a 28 (stock) ?
