Default removing passenger door panel

The guy I bought my car from pretty much blew the factory mach speakers. Trying to replace them and cant get the panel off. I removed the the switch and handle bezels. I removed the push pin in the front of the door. It almost wants to come off but will not. Is the mach 460 tweeter in the way by the window to push the panel up from the clips that its held on by?? What do I do to finish getting it off. Thanks for any help. Jerry

Do you even have a set of speakers to replace it?

Assuming you also removed the two black screws that sit behind the door handle you should be able to slide the panel up, out and off. You'll have to remove the tweeter for sure to get the panel back on, though.

It's best if you remove the tweeter. Remove the tweeter grill by pulling it straight off towards you. It's just a pressure type of fit. I don't recommend trying to pry it off with any thing, it just damages the plastic. The PO did so on mine. There are a couple of screws/bolts holding it on if I remember correctly.

This might help a little as well..

Good luck...
