Default hid question/headlight

ok i got a single beam hid kit, so does that mean my high beams wont work at all? not that it matters because as it is now i never use them with my factory stuff because nothing changes lol. And if i can use high beams on the single kit, is there a way to add high beam useage later? and then id also like to know about tinting the headlights, ive seen a few articles, but what im curious about is can you just go with a like a 35% window tint on the headlight? cuz im not looking for super dark just enough to take the chrome edge off. and how many different ways are there to tint the head lights?

hid's idk about, I think you have to buy the kit and live with it unless you get another kit.

Three ways to tint headlights
sheet tint
spray
buy tinted ones

I would just say buy the tinted set, so you can get clear side markers. Tint on yellow dosent look right imo

you use soapy water, apply the tint, then use a squeegee and heat to get it right. give me a few and I'll find the link to my tail light how too

coolness, only one more question then...will it work over an uneven surface? cuz windows are flat and factory lights are flatish, but the lights i have had a protruding section that flatens out on just the projector part.

If thats what you want in headlights I would recommend having them sprayed, but I personally dont like them, look ricey to me.

if you want your headlights tinted, would recommend just going to a body shop and asking for a light smoke. Otherwise, get yourself some new headlights. (smoked clear corners )

As for HID's. Since you have the single beam kit, you HSOULD have a high beam still. It should be halogen though.. All you have to do is wire it up to work. I forget how, but i have low beam HID's with high beam halogens. I dont use the high beams. Even when i had a high/low hid kit, my low beams were still brighter.

If you want high beam HID's, you are going to need a relay harness kit and new hi/low bulbs.
