Default catted pipe- Magnaflow question

I currently have the magnaflow magapack installed on my car. I debating adding an x or h pipe. I has to be catted though. My question is this: How would the noise change from what i currently have to what it would sound like catted. Cuz i know not to many of ya guys have the megapacks but other exhaust plus can't really find anything on youtube. Also i was looking into go also with the magnaflow catted x pipe.

Magnaflow catted x is a great piece...but its expensive. Also, catted x will sound decent...as will a catted h. x will be slightly louder and might have slight rasp to it...but not much since you'll have cats. H will be more deep and muscular. Here is what i agree with...x=straight through, h=chambered. Just my opinion. But this subject is very subjective.

When i added my catted MRT h pipe to my SSS Adrenaline cat back, it got significantly louder and deeper... in a good way. No raspy/poppy tone, just very deep and bassy.

Basically it just enhanced the volumn and tone of the cat back.

With the Magnapacks, both (catted x and h) will sound good.

You might be able to get a shorty catted x pipe and get the stock rear cats cut off and the shorty catted x welded into whats left of the stock midpipe. Thats the only way to really not add much noise.

I just put on a Magnaflow Catted X to pair up with my Flowmaster mufflers and it is such an improvement. I also wasn't tryin to be too loud, I just wanted a better quality sound comin out of the pipes. I thought about goin with an H, but IMO H pipes start to make a Stang sound like a truck. Too deep for me, but I know other ppl like the deepness of it.

^^^You have the same exhaust setup as me right now. Nice choice. What you think of it so far?

Go catted x pipe. it would sound nice and wont be too much louder, but ant aftermarket mid pipe will make your car at least a little louder

i ran a catted x with magnapacks beforeI switched to a o/r mid pipe, I think a catted x pipe will give you the sound & performance that you'll be happy about.

The whole purpose of an aftermarket midpipe is to pick up power and sound. You cant really get one without the other in terms of midpipes. I mean you can get quieter but that involves changing the muffler. Performance gains...probably about 10rwhp from stock to catted x/h. But many people do midpipes for the sound. So i'd go ahead with the catted x pipe. You will like it...im almost sure of it.
