i don't remember seeing any locating pins on the GT emblems when i took it off. the only pins i remember seeing were on the back of the Ford logo. i just took a picture of mine on my phone before i removed them, had my trunk painted, then used the picture as a reference to put them back on.

oh ive read on here that the GT/XXth Anniv. logos on the fenders have locating pins. the GT on the trunk does not because i already took that off. the Ford logo on the trunk does have pins as well but im not removing that

wasn't really looking for opinions....just an answer and it is MY car so i think i could do what I want with it. rather put money into somethig worth it. there is $30 i dont NEED to spend. thought of it so i inquired about it here to get an answer



so....anyone with a pic?

no pics of fender...but theres the backside of the emblem...i put arrows where the pins are, its hard to tell since theres so much adhesive left on them...the small pin kinda looks like a + and the big pin looks like O

Default GT Emblem pics of backside

I don't have a picture of the fender either, but I recently removed/replaced my GT emblems and here's a picture of the backside of the one that I didn't break removing. I gave basic measurements though so you get a rough idea of the area you'll need to cover. Also be aware that the holes in the fender are slightly dimpled, as in not perfectly flat stamped holes in the fender. Hope this helps some....
