Default octane rating

in a previous thread i made the comment

you can gain up to 5rwhp per octane increase...thats why people with 93 octane tunes gain 30-40 hp ...with the jetzfuelz you should be making about 300 to the wheels

dollar for dollar, the best thing you can do for your car...dont listen to these dumbasses...DO IT
after a member asked about running 100 leaded....after everyone telling him no and explaining it, i made that post as a joke....almost everyone caught on...except a certain admin who thought it was a serious post...hence the new wording under my name with the explanation VIA PM

am i crazy or does the word "jetzfuelz' and the 300rwhp claim make that entire comment a joke?

apparently, joking is not allowed on this site anymore?

just to clear the air....when i made that statement, it was complete sarcasm, that was picked up by a few, hence the replies "best post in this thread" etc...but for anyone who did not get it...do not put 100 leaded into your car, it wont grow wings and fly...i thought that was obvious, but apparently it wasnt to the admins

did anyone else here take that comment as a serious comment????

Over 4,000 posts and you don't know how to use smileys? A few of them you can just type in...well actually you can type in all of them if you know the 'code'.

Quote this post to see the 'code' for those smileys.

About that other post, do any of you think that it could really be considered as 'real advice'? I figured it was just a joke, but I can also see how some people could look at that seriously, especially the last line of it.

in context of the thread, theres no way that could been seen as real advise....wtf....there was like 30 people in there saying it wont help, with video and dyno evidence and all kinds of BS explaining that it wont help

hell i saw a recent post in an oil thread where a guy told another guy to make sure and flush his oil system with water before adding the new oil.....he didnt get a bad tech badge, and that **** will actually ruin your engine, unlike 100 octane leaded mucking up some o2 sensors
