Default Took the decklid off today.

So, I'm starting one of my winter projects finally - removing the spoiler and emblems from my decklid. This car is going to look completely different come spring!! New wheels are going to be ordered Feb 1st probably, stripes and caliper paint done when the temp gets back into the 50's, and a clean decklid are all in the works!!! I can't wait.

Would anyone want me to take pics of the spoiler removal decklid cleanup, prep work, and final product? Or is it not that big of a deal? I already took it off so would have to wait til putting it back on to take pics of the four bolts, four wire connections and two struts that connect it to the car and have to be removed.

Let me know though.

you took the deck lid off today? LOL. IMO a white mustang IS THE ONLY MUSTANG that looks good without a wing, they just look soo clean. i wouldnt do it with any other color for some reason.

I agree with ^^^^ on that body style the white is the only one that can get away with removal of the spoiler

I've been thinking of taking my spoiler off, i've seen some mineral greys lowered like mine without spoilers and they look really nice.

Just cause i got the car lowered the other day i thought i'd post pics, doesn't have anything to do with a spoiler i just love the way it looks and thought i'd post a pic. Not the best picture, i snapped it with my phone an hour after it got dropped.
