Didnt realize it was a 4.6 4v... I was thinking he meant the 5.4 4v... my bad... geez... Either way I would put I new K member in any way might as well since the motor is going to be out. I was just trying to help and discuss this topic, no reason to be a jerk about it. If you dont like the site and the people here that are posting all this false info by all means log in more and save us all the trouble and enlighten us with your wealth of knowledge.

Since when does a 5.4L need a different K-Member than the 4.6L?
You can use Cobra R motor mounts to drop the engine an extra 6mm and the Cobra R trans mount, together they offer a 12mm drop/angle change for added hood clearance.
They are kinda hard to source though.

BTW Seach for Lightning Mustang and you will find a bunch of Lightning 5.4L SOHC swapped mustangs making some crazy power.
For around $1500-3000 you can get a mid to low mile SC 5.4L and have some damn crazy fun.
You would do very well to have a pair of Trick Fow CNC'ed heads put on so as to avoid any spark plug blow out problems.
Now they arent as strong as Termi motors but you can build them up to be.
You could always buy a forged shortblock and then bolt all the goodies up on top.
Whipple make an AWESOME SC upgrade for the lightning that routes the intake and TB to the drivers side of the SC instead of ontop of it which allows for a lot more hood clearance.
For under $5k you can have a very unique and powerful car, for several thousand more you can have a bulletproof street monster.
