Mustang Window tint (5%)
Pretty much i'm getting my windows tinted tomorrow, I have never had 5% Limo tint i always went for 15%. Basically I figure I could get over for 15% so why not go all the way with 5%. Anybody else have 5% tint? hard to see at night?
|
The sides aren't bad but the back is pretty hard to see out of. My back is less than 5% so its not necessary to worry about ppl having their brights on behind you haha.
The hardest part I had was backing up at night if there wasn't much artificial light to help you. I eventually bought a set of ultra white bulbs from stangmods I think and they have helped out a ton. However much I complain about my tint, I'd never change it lighter! |
Idk about the regulations where you guys live, but here in Cali 5% is illegal. I have 25% and still put my windows down when I see a cop. It's very strict out here. It sucks but the privacy I get is priceless.
Put up some pics! |
I have 5percent it's perfect. Like someone said backing up can be difficult. I almost went for 2.5 percent but that would be too much. Stick with 5

5% is perfect here too. Well mine is a little less than 5% but here look.

I say go for it. I just hate backing up, usually I have to put my windows down to do it and I only have 20%.

My rear 3 windows are 5%. I love it. It can be a little hard to see out of at night when backing up but nothing to complain about. I'm used to driving work vehicles without back windows anyways.
