Its got the hollow sound of the flows but kinda the tone quality of a straight through muffler. Its really hard to explain but it sounds awesome.

I'm just curious, what actually makes them different than say flows or macs? They are chambered right? I mean are they a 2 chamber design, or what exactly?

I'm just not familiar with them, and what exactly makes them unique.

As you can see, its a straight through design muffler. Its somewhat like a straight pipe i'd say...but the perforations in the pipe allow for some of the sound to dissipate into the packing around it...but not a lot because these things are pretty loud.

Very interesting. I've never seen a muffler like that for our cars. So, basically it's a straight through muffler (no chambers) but the perforations have a chambered type affect on sound correct? Or am i not understanding that right lol?

I guess thats what causes it, but im not 100% sure either way. But it makes sense the way you word it.

It really does sound badass I get compliments all the time.

I think some of the pure straight-thru designs are very loud but sound terrible with no tone.

On the other end the pure chambered designs sound very good but aren't loud enough.

This combines it like teej said. I was surprised about the quality of the mufflers too for the price I have the stainless ones.

IMO, best sounding cat-back after any kind of mid-pipe is Borla, Corsa is nice too. Depends on how loud you want your car lol. I got Flows and they only sound good at WOT...

Heres mine( Mods in sig )

Corsa dB mufflers sound ****...but they are like $200 a muffler. Im almost willing to say thats worth it...but im not totally sure. My flowmasters arent near loud enough. I was thinking about corsas, sss, violators and im so torn between all of them. I hate choosing exhaust.
