Default Ordered some stuff...Lemme know your thoughts

Ok, I ordered some stuff...
Upper and lower flsfc's
H&R Vert Lowering Springs
steeda udp's
Ford Racing a/c delete
SLP loudmouth resonators

Right now my main concern is to get the body kit, hood, and suspension set up. I just cant, stand how quiet the car is right now. I don't want to waste the $500+ on a catback system as I'd rather direct the funds to the above.
So, I decided to have my stock mufflers cut out to have the resonators put in there place. I'm pretty sure that my stock exhaust system is 2.25" diameter and the Slp's resonators are 2.5" diameter. Will I have a problem having them put in?
Will the car, at least, sound like a mustang until I get to the point to install a full system?

Sounds like a fun day of shopping, haha. In terms of the mufflers, you can probably find 2.25 inch mufflers from an exhaust shop or online (although they may not be SLP's). If you are goin to be getting a catback anyway, why waste money swapping out your stock mufflers AND THEN buying a catback system later???

I think it will sound great, especially compared to the stock exhaust (I had the same SLP LM1's with my stock H-pipe, although with the complete cat-back). You'll need a total of four 2.5" to 2.25" reducers to get the SLP resonators on to your stock pipes. Whatever muffler shop you go to should have them, or if you wish to supply them yourself then Autozone, Pep Boys, etc. have them for about $2 each.

well to be honest, I'm guessing it'll be a year or two before I get to the exhaust. My suspension and chassis setup is going to cost me well over 5k. So I just don't have the money to waste on a full system right now. This is only my 3rd mustang, but it's the first that I've had that is hard to hear over low music volumes. I can't stand it. That is why I thought it would be a cheap and easy fix to just weld in some aggresive sounding mufflers for now.

When the time comes, I won't be getting a catback. I do plan on getting a full system specific to my plans for the car.

I made my own resonators haha. I took the stock mufflers, gutted and trimmed them so they were the exact size of some slp lm1s and rewelded them. They sound great! ANd it cost me nothing!

Don't bother with springs unless you are trying to stay within a certain class. Go coil-over.
