Default Does chrome rust?

Hey there, this is my first post. I recently bought a 2000 Mustang GT bone stock. Im happy with the performance and sound of it in stock form, its good enough for me. However the the exhaust tips are in bad shape and i wanted to get some nice chrome ones (see pic below). Im sure some people on here have had these before, so my question is will they start to rust soon and/or change color? I will not be driving the car in winter, but im wondering from the heat generated if they will start to change color or possibly rust? If they rust in 5 years i dont care but i want them to last me at least 2-3 seasons. What do you guys think?

thanks

My buddies SLP tips are pretty damn shiny!!! Idk how chrome will look. I think chrome turns colors when it gets heated up and stuff but i can be wrong. Most people go with stainless steel exhaust systems if that helps...

I'm really not too sure about the whole chrome thing though.

Tokico. I can't tell you how much they lowered the car though because they were on the car when i bought it. It's about a 1.5" drop though.
