Default Anyone need a project car?

So, I'm sure not many of you remember me, although, who knows, maybe I pissed everyoe off enough so that no one will forget me, but I know you guys love mustangs, so who would I be to sell my car without letting you guys have first crack at it.

I would say it doesn't move, but it does, in reverse, hahaha. The transmission took a crap on me last november. It used to have a T-56, and while I loved it, I took it out when I decided to go back to school, and put what I was told was a "built" auto, well, as you can see, that really didn't help me out.

So aside from the broken transmission, it's still got the power to run 10's. The vortech still cranks just like normal, the car's been started weekly to keep everything running smoothly, I just don't know that I can take not having it running anymore, but still sitting in front of me, ya know.

I don't know how you winter people do it, I havn't driven it since last november, and I'm truly getting depressed knowing it's just sitting there, after I had purchased Nitto's and new wheels and everything.

Well, anyway, down to the point. I'm only asking 6.5, because of the broken transmission and all. It's still worth far more than that, there is still a crapload of money in it.

If anyone's even remotely intersted, please let me know. It's been taken care of, I've never really beat on it.

Where you at in this country??? I definitely think you should just find a wrecked GT and at least throw a manual tranny in it and drive it again because youre just going to kick yourself for selling it at that price. Dont you have like full suspension and everything on that car with like steeda wheels and such or was that someone else???

I've had to sell the wheels, and pretty much anything extra I had, just to get by. I was laid off in december, so I'm currently paying for school out of pocket, which means out of savings, which means no cash

Oh, so theres a reason behind selling the car other than no tranny. I got you now. But wasnt the motor built and stuff or am i thinking crazy??? If the motor's built, you better be able to get at least asking price...i would have set it higher honestly because anyone can go out and buy a t45 and put it in and at least drive the car for like $500 and then when that one breaks, buy another one or just eventually put a built tranny in it.

Built engine, ported/worked heads,

I think the mod list is in "my garage". Everything's the same, cept it has a SRA now and, well, the auto.

I mean, If I could get the cash to fix it soon, I would be perfectly fine keeping it, I can afford the insurance/gas, but a ton of cash for a new tranny(no homo) is not something I can afford.

If I knew where I could get a new transmission for under a K, I'd probably go with that just to get it moving, but I don't, so o well.

wrecked cars have used...and used is better than nothing at all. especially when it means that you get to keep the car. Your car is a steal at that asking price man...im tellin you. Dont sell her.
