that v1 is going to sound so sweet. when you get it make sure the bearings are still good, dont want to scare you but i learned the hard way. are you going intercooled or non-ic? if you need help, i'll be here to help man. good luck.
How can I check the bearings? I was told there was no shaft play or anything ike that I will be non-ic for now running a 3.60 pulley. I will most likely run meth or a fmic with e85 once I PCS back to the lower 48!
Did you have to drop the tank all the way or just undo the straps and filler neck to get it out? Did you do the focus pump or gt? I payed 650.00 for the head unit shipped. Not to bad IMO Half the price of new roughly. Did you use tr6 plugs? Thats what I bought and will probably gap them at 35.

Yeah I used TR6 plugs gapped at .032
To drop the tank you just do the three bolts in the filler neck(10mm) and the 2 bolts for the straps. Slowly lower it and then there is an electrical connection right in the back, then straight back from that one towards the other side of the tank. I had like 2 gallons in my tank, make sure you run it low.
Oh you need to take the fuel filter off too, might as well change it while your at it.

And injectors and MAF. I got my 42#ers and lightning MAF from buyfordracing.com pretty damn cheap And for the tune if you don't already have a tuner I suggest Sniper
