not sure im answering this right, but the 8psi your seeing, is a common number, if im not mistaken. Basically both turbos feed the same hole....so i see what your saying, but i still think both turbos still see 8psi, but you might be right about them generating less heat to get it. but you cant really look at it like one turbo does 4psi and the other does 4 psi.

psi is really just a relative pressure though. smaller turbos will have to spin more to flow the same amount of air to equal a larger turbo. So your small turbos will be spinning more to make the same psi as a larger single would have to. this is what my thinking is anyways.

yea I know it's not really as simple as that it's just an example I threw out there. But I'm wanting to know about the heat being generated. Would each turbo in a tt setup see less heat?

well the one thing i can tell you, is that the twins are usually in the fenders...meaning they generate less under hood heat, by a lot compared to a front mount single turbo. outside of that...you need to ask someone else...lol i wish i knew. im sure it will make sense once its explained, but off the top of my head im stumped at how to answer.

can you explain if the twin turbos work any more or less than a single at the same output?

ie is there effeicencie to be had with a single over twins?

do the twins work less to make the same boost as the single would? Are they making more heat or are they doing anything more than what the single would be doing, like spinning faster(creating more heat) or whatever. I think thats what he is trying to say.
