lost some weight.
two small turbos would be like twin 50's, and i still think thats too much turbo for a street car. im a turbo fan boy myself, but im starting to realize that you have to properly set up your car for the turbo(s) that you want. Twins should be saved for 3v's and 4v's honestly. 2v's wont be able to spool the turbos efficiently enough for my tastes. Ive really been digging the whipple lately. I honestly think that a whipple is gonna be what im gonna go with with a 4v swap. My friend's 03 cobra with 560rwhp rocked my world last weekend. First ride in a twin screw car and it felt awesome!!!
If I swap, I'll be going with a 4v and ported eaton until I decide to tt^^.

can't go wrong with teetee's
not gonna go teej bashing...since i like you :P but ive got a few problems with some of your statements. Now i do agree that correct sizing of turbos is important, and obviously your right about people having too big a turbo, but thats common practice, almost everyone puts too big a turbo.
My example...your single 76mm turbo....too big. Hell yea it will make great power, but i saw one of those mustangs at the strip last summer. he put down 630 rwhp or some where in there, but the turbo was way to big for his set up, so when i raced him, we were dam near neck and neck through the 1/8 reason being everytime he shifted he lost his boost and had to build it again (belevie he was like 14-16ish psi) so he didnt go like stink till that last part of the track. (he was a slow shifter too) I think twin 50mm are perfect for little to no lag time. like the kits from HPperformance.com And i didnt mean to say you cant run a turbo set up for corners, just that it takes a lot of fore thought.
Next issue, i agree that twin screws are bad for heat up, but i dont agree in how you refered to leaving a corner with one, lol. Basically i can pitch my bolt on mustang sideways out of a corner, so really its just a matter of knowing the power and limits of your car so that you can make the most of it. 500rwtq is still a lot, turbo twin or centi. If your gonna pound on it eairly without knowing what the car can handle youll end up in a tree period
and even though i dont race i know that you want to be on the power as much as possible as soon as you get through the apex.
And last, although i have nothing to back this up except what ive heard, and thats ive heard that centris do pretty well on road and track courses.
That will be all
looking forward to your rebutle
