Default Vortech MAF bracket question

Ok so it says in the instructions (2001 model) to remove the two factory nuts and washers in the pass fender well to mount the MAF bracket. I can't seem to find these damn things. I took me less time to tap the oil pan lol. Anyone got a good description or even a picture by chance? Also when using the lightning MAF the hose couplers seem to be to small. I think it says they are 3 1/2 inch so should I get a 4 inch or what? Will it still fit the other end ok after that?

Thanks for continuing to help guys and I am not to far from having this thing done finishing up drilling my discharge pipe now to mount my IAT sensor in the correct location instead of at the inlet side!

Nevermind on the the nuts and washers...been up over 17 hours and just overlooked them! Still open to advice on the coupler for the MAF to the elbow!
