Default PATS problems

Been searching for this issue but I have had no luck. My theft light blinks at me when i first start the car. It continues to run fine with no issues, but after a while the light stops blinking fast and blinks slow giving one blink... pause... 6 blinks... longer pause then it continues blinking a 1-6 code. Is this an error code, if so what error is it?

I recently had a engine code when I had my mid pipe off so I cleared it by unhooking the battery and touching the terminals together for a few seconds. It started after that. Any ideas?

Found out the codes, 1:6 means "Faulty link between PATS module and EECV"
http://www.fordscorpio.co.uk/pats.htm says go to dealer to get it fixed.

Is there something I can do? maybe reflash it?

try disconnecting battery for a 1/2 hour and retry. If that does not work reflash your car to stock tune to see if problem goes away then reflash your performance tune.
