i was thinking between 600 and 650rwhp, i should be happy with that. I dont know much about building an engine but this is a start, got a lot of research to do and figure out how i am going to do it. Going to try and reuse as much as i can from my car now but it prob wont be much, just have to figure out what will work on my car and what works with each other.

did you need to do anything for your oil pan, or did it just bolt right up,same with the oil pump. I want things i can bolt on and not worry about having the wrong parts for my app.

Did that come out of a 4v car??? Im wondering just because it has 2 piston notches on it making me wonder because you usually only see the pistons notched for one valve on the intake side, or am i just not observant to see the one for the exhaust valve on usual setups? If it is for a 4v, be careful on the cam choice so you dont run into ptv issues as the pistons arent notched for a 2v...but thats only if it was a block built for a 4v. If it is in fact for a 2v head, then you can run pretty big cams and not have to worry. but looks like a great start. what blower you gonna run to get to those power goals???

If it were me I'd put a set of main studs and mmr side bolts in it instead of using the factory stuff for that power goal. Also I didn't realize the 03-04 cobra blocks only had a 2bolt main setup. I thought all 4v cars had 4bolt mains and then the side bolts that both 2v and 4v have.

I'd look into that fuel system and the intake setup since you will be shooting for a real nice power goal. Also you should have asked him what he would have sold the entire longblock for complete.
