Wouldn't it have been significantly cheaper to buy rotors seperate from somewhere (~$115), the bullitt brakes from buyford racing (~210)....??

Those really dont seem that similar, but thats just my analysis of the specs. They might be closer than i think, but the numbers dont seem that close. And for one, the exhaust centerlines are not similar. Looks like you would blow out your boost out the exhaust valves. But thats just me. But thats just my analysis based off of CMS's website and MHS's website.

WOAH WOAH WOAH! Putting in Stage 1 cams?!?!? Aren't you the one that always said CMS STAGE 2 cams FTW in every cam thread on the forum?

Yea, but he is eventually putting a blower on so...stage 2 n/a cams wont be very advantageous on a blower car, so it would be kind of a waste to add cams and have them be not beneficial later on down the road.

CMS Stage 1 N/A cam - .540/550 lift, 224/226 .050" duration, 110 LSA
CMS Stage 2 blower cam -.530/.570 lift, 220/230 .050" duration, 112 LSA +4*

They aren't too similar. The N/A cam is more intake biased which is good for the PI heads since they are already exhaust biased. I'm not exactly sure what the IC is on the blower cams but I'm guessing the N/A cam has a much tighter IC which will make more midrange.

When it comes down to it though, your talking 5-10rwhp difference maybe between the two.

Even with a blower in place, only 5-10rwhp??? I'd think more than that considering thats the traditional gap between stage 1 and 2 cams and we're talking about blower specific cams on a blower car.

I said "some" cams are similar for blower vs. NA cams and I didn't mean specifically CMS cams. The point is really that she doesn't really need it nor want it.

This is not my car, it's a girls car and only girls cars all should have only stage 1 cams. She's never going to race it and I doubt highly she'll ever even yank the max RPM's. She's not even changing the gear ratio so Stage1 cams are all she'll need. You guys are reading way too into this, lol. This is a fun daily driver for a girl that's main goal is to look and sound good. Besides all that, 400rw can be had very easily with low boost and NA or Blower cams. Heck I made 440rw with a stock longblock and manifolds.
