ive driven a centerforce dual friction, was really easy to use, and has good holding power, i think less than the spec stage 2, but ive heard the spec stage 2 is harder to push, where the dual friction is less than or around stock feel. Im putting the centerforce in my car.

stiffer clutches ftw.

banging gears is so much more fun, the difference from my stock clutch( i think its stock) to my friends stock clutch on his 99 GT is unbelivable, mines sooo much stiffer and i love it.

Centerforce or bust. The centerforce clutch holds over 400rwhp if im not mistaken and the pedal effort is awesome. Its like butter man.

Spec Stage 2. Me and my buddy put one in his car last summer and its awesome. Not too heavy and it grabs hard and is easy to use with no chatter at all.

Grabbing hard is not what you want in a street car in my opinion. For DD you want a smooth engagement with as much holding capacity as possible without affecting how harsh the grab is...which centerforce is the best of both worlds. Found the df clutch for $310 too, so price is cheaper for the centerforce as the spec.

All of the shops I've gone to around here recommend Centerforce Dual Friction for a combination street/strip car.

i'm doing a centerforce on mine. its not in yet but its here.

i talked to centerforce because no websites i found listed a holding power for this clutch and i'm about to put my vortech on just had to wait for a new clutch. centerforce told me the dual friction is capable of 600tq at the crank, enough for anyone on a stock shortblock in otherwords.
