Lol Nerd just schooled him, I say S/C'ing a car nowadays is a hell of a lot cheaper then
a few years back. I just left my full time job to go back to school full time and Im managing to piece Together a nice kit (Vortech). If your on a budget then grow some patience , plan everything step by step and shop around.

I ran a 100 wet shot on my stang for 6 months with np's. Sold the kit because i had to drive so far away to get it filled for $5 a lb. I pieced together a vortec v1, installed and i blew up the engine. My tuner said you have to pay to play. So i paid. New engine, stage 2 clutch with adj cable, headers, plenum, tb, aluminum fly, rebuilt snail and 6 grand later i had a 12 sec mustang the was fast and reliable but not cheap. Been driving it for over a year easy with only the radiator fan going out.

In my own personal opinion, if you are going to do it. Do it right the first time. Now whether you are thinking nitrous/supercharger/turbo, if you can't afford it two or three times over, I wouldn't do it. By the way OP, where in CT you from?

There is no cheap way to do it IDC what How-to link is posted.

Cheap, Fast, Reliable Pick Two.

(I also hear Michaels Arts and Crafts gives lessons in scrap booking but you'll need to do some research to confirm.)
Oh god you're gonna roast me in response to my PM hahahaha.
