Did you order directly from sss? I need to buy some tips from them but they do not have an online store or anything

After reading the lack of concern in the reply email for Devongarver, I will not be endorsing this to my "slue" of friends looking for catbacks for their mustangs. I found devons email very respectful and professional. It certainly deserved a more well thought out response. In any case, if they were smart and noticed the huge amount of orders come in for their exhausts, they should have gotten off their asses and made more to fulfill the demand. How many of those potential customers do you think they lost from being out of catback systems for 60 days?

Im glad i am not the only one who feels this way!^^^^^

I just cannot believe the way he basically blew me off, he might as well have not replied at all! I don't know how they think that they can just treat customers like that and assume it will not affect the sales. Meh...I'll continue to by from the likes of SLP, they have a sound product, I don't have to worry about customer service with them lol.

See I think devon hit it right on the nail in his email. He said something along the lines of reputation meaning everything in the business of modding cars. The Mustang has the biggest aftermarket in the industry out of any other car. That is huge competition, and to blow off a customer or potential customer, is suicide for the company. ESPECIALLY in this sh*tty economy! Wouldn't you want to win your customers over? If I had a company like SSS I would hire someone specifically to market to these forums. If he came back with an email that took responsibility and said something along the lines of, "there may have been a mixup, but LET ME HELP YOU MAKE THIS SITUATION RIGHT AND SOLVE THE PROBLEM" or If they took a more consultative approach (im in technology sales so I live this BS everyday) and came back with something like "let us help you create a badass sound for your mustang so it has the best sound on the road" it would be night and day different situation. What do you guys think?

^^ I agree, with the mustang having such a large aftermarket, companies can't afford to blow people off, not to mentuon NEW comapnies like SSS. If a place like Magnaflow or any big name did it, they could afford to since they have had a much longer time and built up a reputation.

Personally I have emailed SSS and have called Jon 3 times within 2 weeks...about a month ago...and left messages with no response back. So that was a little annoying. But I think I'll stick with my magnaflow CB, not because of what has happend in this thread, but more so of the lack of response to me and hearing that o/r x with adrenaline will be too raspy for my taste.
