60' Time Suggestions??
So I was at the track last night and the best I could manage was a 1.87. I've hit 1.86 before. The car has UPR upper/lower control arms with sphericals, Steeda FLSFC's, a Baseline ARB, MSD launch master, and I have the front sway bar torn off. I was running on 315-35/17 MT dr's last night. I didn't have the ARB hooked up last night, I did for the 1.86 on a worse track. I have the MSD wired to a switch to ground. What seems to work best is dumping the clutch and then clicking the switch off. It usually keeps the tires from spinning and the engine from bogging if it's done quickly. I know the setup I have should be good for 1.7's. Anybody have any suggestions to drop my short time a tenth to where it should be??
Is your clutch slipping at all??? that might cause some issues with launching. And what do you have your strange 10 ways set at??? I know from experience that my car feels like it launches better on the 2nd or 3rd setting from the soft side. Mess with those and see where that gets you as well. You dont want your setting on the softest setting because then all your power is focused on pushing down on the suspension instead of enough power pushing your tires into the ground to stay hooked as well as power pushing the car forward. Do you get what im saying?
Dime, he is running strange 10 ways and probably around 250rwhp or slightly more with 4.10's.

Ok...he might be able to hit high 1.7s...but some ****s gotta change....run it stiff...very stiff in the rear and soft upfront... get a 15in rim and run a 26inch tire. 275 50 15 mts work great... and launch higher...around 5500
I have the front set on 1 (softest) and the rear set on 6. I was thinking launching it a bit higher might help out a bit. I'd love to get some big n' littles on but it's just not in the budget at the moment. You think ripping off the rear sway bar will help out at all?
6 is REALLY stiff...but if youre hooking then i guess its alright. And yea, try it stiffer i guess and see if you still hook well. I always find that i hook best at 3 or 4 but thats just me. I should try it around 6 and see how it goes.
