hey guys hows it goin i got two questions i was wondering if a six speed cobra tranny would bolt on to my gt? and also is this a good deal?

Yes just make sure it wasn't abused. A lot of those cars toast the transmissions when they are running a twin screw swap.

The bumper youre looking at is the same one that evenexchange is looking at so might wanna wait and see if he gets it and likes it. and the 6 speed should work just fine, but you will need a new driveshaft for the longer trans.

yaa i think ill wait for that....it seems pretty cheap...and the 6 speed tranny is it worth doing?

Yes it is you can run steeper gears and still get the good MPG for daily driving.

^To some extent. The top gear is still geared like our 5th gear actually but 1-3rd are geared a little higher(lower numerically) so you would need to run a lower gear(higher numerically) to get the same pull in the lower gears. Something worth noting.

I did a complete swap a couple years ago and has all the info you would need to accomplish it. Lots of info on gears and the ups/downs of different ratios.

it would fit but you have to look online for the conversion kit. The shifter itself, ****, etc....i cant remember who but theres a company online that makes a kit for what you wanna do
