nope just use a pry bar when you drop the a arm and pop the stock spring out and the lower springs go in easy. do you have a writeup to use as a guide?

i saw a good one on americanmuscle. i work at a shop im a painter, and im gonna do it afterwork tomorrow and the mechanics will stay and help me if i need help. but i didnt look that hard on the write up. rear looks really easy. front all u do is take off the tie rod end, sway bar, and loosen the bushings on the lower control arm right?

Front:
take off the nut for the sway bar and the nut on top of the strut and than drop the a arm down and pop the spring out. The only thing that was a little bit of a pain is lining up the strut back in the hole and the sway bar stud as well when your jacking it up.

Rear:
Take off sway bar(which includes the e brake and abs mounts).
Drop the rear control arm pull the spring out put the new ones in and make sure you put them in the right way***
I do the rear in like 30 minutes tops now cause i have to swap to the stock rear springs when i run my slicks haha.

You won't need a spring compressor. It would make the front easier but not needed. The rear springs are very easy. If you have some extra money, buy some LCAs and put those on when you have the stock LCAs out
