Default trickflow cams

whats everyones thoughts on the trickflow stage one cams. they seem very similar to the 262 comps, but over $100.00 less. i wanna keep bottom end torque and dont wanna turn it much over 6000 rpms so stage ones seem perfect for me.
wanna keep a good torque curve and not just build 30 more horses above 4000 rpms.
any help is greatly appreciated.

Seems that most folks that have gotten the TF heads go with a different company for their cams

almost identical to the xe262ah's. i saw ur dyno sheet and was impressed with the torque curve, im also looking into the the xe270's like ur's.

i know im gonna get roasted for this but im not gonna put springs in it right now. (have something in mind for the next coming 18 months.) those who still have factory springs post up.

I didn't do springs with my MHS stage 2's. You'll be fine as long as the lift isn't too high, and you don't over rev big time.

IMHO, there are better cams for your application than the TFS stage 1's.

If they do fit with no PTV contact they seem like they are a higher rpm cam, meaning noticable power increase from 5000-6500+rpm while losing some down low.

You should look into MHS Stage 2 or CMS stage 1 cams. You won't lose power down low and you won't need to rev to the moon to make power.
