Default Adjusting headlights?

I just ordered my HID's. I've always had my lights aimed too high I think, because people always flash their brights at me. Is there a writeup somewhere that tells you how to adjust them? (Park in front of a wall and measure?)

The headlight aiming in our cars isn't adjustable, the lamp housings are in a fixed position. Only the foglights on GT's are adjustable (a little bit). The only way I could see your headlights being aimed too high and causing others to think you have your high beams on is if the rear of your car was sagging really bad. What kind of neighborhoods do you drive around in? It could be a gang trying to initiate you If that's the case, don't flash back. Beatdowns suck.
