Default What would you do?

I ordered a complete set of BBK UCA/LCA from Jegs on 4/29/10. When I made the order it said they were in stock. Then the confirmation email I got from them said backordered and scheduled to ship on 5/9. Originally this was going to be fine as I had taken this whole week off and had a shop willing to install on 5/13. As of today they are still B/O and if I try to play with again they say they are scheduled to now ship in 16 days. Should I wait it out or cancel my order and go AM as they say in stock? Or should I go with a different set of LCA's only? The reason I am changing out is the bushings in the stock LCA's are squeeking and I can fix with silicone spray but this "treatment" only lasts so long. I figured might as well change both UCA/LCA's out at once.

P.S. the only reason I ordered from Jegs is because they had the bolt kit avail and I didn't want to chance the installer not having to cut/break a bolt to get the stock out.

Cancel the order and buy from http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/Mustang/ they are super fast, and friendly if you order this morning they should ship today.

Any thoughts on the BBK's? The main reason I went with them is due to the fact of the grease zerks, but am open to ideas from others as well.

I don't personally think they are the greatest, but they're cheap. Look into Maximum Motorsports, UPR, or Steeda. I'm sure the BBK's will be better than stock and prob work great if you don't plan on lots of horsepower down the road. The UPR doesn't use Heim joints instead of bushings so there is nothing to Grease.

Thats just it they are cheap. Right now its my DD. I have had the car now for a year. Picked it up for a pretty good deal with only 60k on it. I do plan on eventually doing full bolt-ons, but right now everything is bone stock with the exception of upgraded KYB shocks/struts. I was kind of leaning towards MM LCA's if I cancel the order. Who knows I have yet to pitch my btch to them and if they throw in some discounts or what not for future purchases....

Well to top it all off just got off the phone with Jegs and they are cancelling my order but didn't have a good excuse or resolution to my order so needless to say it will be an act of god before I order parts from them again.

I would just do the MM lca's, with full bolt on's that would be ok. If you drag race then you want the extra duty one's tho.

I'm not really planning on dragging at all, just some spirited driving once in a while
