Default Demographics...

OK, so this is definitely off topic, but I am posting it in here in hopes that the Mod Gods will see fit for it to stay, as it pertains directly to the members of this section.

I am trying to learn(for my own twisted curiosity) a little more about the type of people who are members of this section. I obviously cannot ask that you share personal information, that's not safe, but I am curious about as much as you are comfortable with sharing. For example, what age bracket do you fall in(young punk, middle aged, geezer etc lol), what do you do for a living, are you married, have kids? what part of the country do you live in( it's easier to own a stang in florida then maine, as most people need a second 4wd vehicle for winter then), do you race it or is it a daily driver, etc etc.

I think it's ironic that I just saw another thread posted about people having the car paid off, and I was wanting to start this thread for a while now. I am just very curious how mustangs came to be a part of each of your hobbies, as there certainly are a ton of recreations out there, and we are definitely a different breed..lol.

I myself am 24. I live in Northeastern Ohio. I have a degree in electronics engineering, and work with parking access control systems at the Cleveland Clinic in downtown Cleveland...they don't pay me nearly enough lol. I just got married last week, I never plan to have kids, ever, just don't like em' lol. The mustang is just a weekend driver for fun, and it is a constantly evolving project. I have never raced it, though I may this summer, all depends on cash flow.

I guess we'll see how long this lasts.

27, KS, aerospace sales, sometimes DD but mostly weekend playtoy, longtime g/f. Got into Mustangs long ago when I was younger because you just can't duplicate the sound of a Mustang.

24, degree in Economics from the Univ. of CT, currently in technology sales, absolutely hate it. Do pretty well for myself doing it so I guess it's alright! Always been into cars, LOVE classic muscle cars and specifically fell back in love with Mustangs after I crashed my Audi after a night out, and was sitting on my parents kitchen table on my computer on craigslist. The windows to my living room were open and my Mom and I were talking in the kitchen about what car I was going to buy. As I started to say Acura TL, a Mustang went FLYING up my street. It was so loud that it sounded like the guy was trying to do a 0-80 run from the end of the street into his driveway. I said, "Mom, I'm thinking about buying this white TLLLLLLLLLL I mean mustang!" The look of horror came out her face and I found my baby on craigslist that day and boom its been the biggest pain in my ***/loving relationship I've ever had lol. The mod bug only bit me in the *** on the ride home from picking it up that night. Ever since....its been an obsession of what the next mod will be.
Renting a room from my buddy who bought a house on the water and now have a 70 mile commute to/from work so I'm looking for another job/another car and another place to live in the next 4-6 months...

Im 18 from south central PA and this is my 2nd mustang. My first was my first car and i got this one right before i got my license so mustangs have been the only thing ive ever driven so to speak. Right now I am just finishing my freshman year as a full time student trying to get a doctor of physical therapy degree and I will be working 3 jobs over the summer to support my habits. My full-time job will be a car salesman.

I like long walks on the beach and a nice glass......wait wrong idea lol. In all seriousness, I'm 23, a full time nursing student, trying to get my foot in the door in the medical field. I'm currently at a nursing home and a swim school as a manager/instructor. This is my second mustang, first was a slow auto vert 2001 lol. I've always loved mustang's since I can remember. I live with my gf who supports my addiction to this expensive hobby which is a plus!

wow a lot of twenties...

24, bachelor in computer technology, in 2nd semester of graduate program for IT management. Recently single and loving it, no kids, no ex-wives. Have an apt in the city. Job title is complex network provisioner. Make fairly good money. Drive stang every once in a while and am taking it to the track more and more.

edit: This is my first stang, but I like all sports cars so not sure if I will keep it or what car I will have next, but have my eyes on vettes.

Wow guys thanks for the responses so far! Keep em' coming! I suppose I forgot to add my history of car relationships lol. I have owned 5-6 cars, all were fords, mostly rangers. I now have an explorer for my wife to drive, I have a company car, we are trying to sell her blowbalt POS lol. I bleed blue, never going to change. I have had the speed bug since I was born. My dad used to street race back in the day, when the cops were there to bet on the race not take you to jail lol. I had a ranger with a blower on it capable of 14s...I had some fun messing with mustangs lol. I blew that up a few times and decided to get a mustang.
