Did you have the h pipe and flows? I just had my lt's put on and used a h pipe, but had a x on the stock manifolds. The x pipe my flows sound like a mac truck, very loose and raspy sounding. Now I got the h pipe it sounds way better and about half as loud, with much better tone and not drone.

Thats the same with my stingers. Super loud when you want, and quiet enough when you want, with no highway drone.

ive got the borla stingers and theres only very slight drone when youre cruising right at 2000 rpm but its not bad at all. its actually got way less drone than the stock ford exhaust while at the same time being much, much louder outside of the car. doing bbk o/r x-pipe soon

Well, it must be the lt's that helped out more than the h pipe on mine. The o/r x ecoed off everything and was crappy sounding. The lt's and o/r h sounds nice. My flows are welded in as well.

I agree with everyone. Drone is mostly a problem with chambered mufflers like flowmasters. Straight thru mufflers are loud but comparatively no drone.
