Question Pillars

Is it common for that pillars above the door\windshield to crack?
Another question.
Is that due to stress or body twist that causes them to crack.

Thanks for any info.

Not quite sure I fully understand your question, but first, no it isn't common for them to form cracks in them as far as I'm aware. Second, are you talking about the painted plastic pieces or the actual steel beneath that makes up the A-pillar? Could you put up a couple pics maybe? I have no idea how either the plastic or the actual A-pillars themselves would form any cracks other than some frame damage from a prior accident. And if that's the case, for it to be bad enough misalignment within the frame/unibody structure to cause any sort of distortion to the A-pillar I would think you'd have issues with your windshield being spiderwebbed.
