Front bumper
I have a 2001 Mustang and the front bumper is missing chips of paint from rocks and other crap on the road. I want to replace it or cover it with a bumper bra or something. I can't seem to find any silver bumper covers though. Most of the ones I have been finding online are primed but not painted.
My local junk yard has nice one, but it is white and not silver. Any ideas on how I can replace this with the color I need?

I kinda had the same problem.. My front bumper had bugs in the paint and it looked terrible. I had thought about painting it but decided to upgrade to a Cobra front bumper. Like everyone has suggested check ebay, craigslist and also corral.net.. They got alot of mustang parts on there.. Good Luck.

pershing's on ebay has painted bumpers and i think you can get gt's and cobras for like $350 or something like that. and they match pretty good too. but then if you got a cobra bumper you need like $500 worth of stuff to go into the bumper.

I'm trying to keep this as cheap as possible. I did manage to find a $200 dollar used silver bumper on eBay for 2 notes and change. It's used. but has no markings on it. is that good price for one?
I'm a little weary of getting a primed one and then getting paint job on it. They can run a pretty penny too I head. I may just get a bumper bra to cover it. It may look a little tacky. but it'll cover it up.
Thanks for the help.

just paint the one you already have. it will be cheaper and in better condition than anything used.
i don't understand the logic of buying the same exact part and painting it when nothing is structurally wrong with the original.
