I need a new shortblock and I have already purchased this one, as advised by a mechanic who works only on mustangs and understands my goals, wants and needs for this car, because I ruined my crankshaft at the track. Although my mechanic is still figuring out exactly what happened.

Maybe I missed it, but are you still running stock heads? Id slap some trickflows on there and youd be near 375 wheel man

he has them listed as CNC ported cylinder heads so im guessing hes just got the stock P.I heads ported.

I'd like to see trickflow heads too.

Thanks for the info. As far as the heads go I went with someone's advice and I am happy with the performance. My reasons for every decision in my car are mostly because its a daily driver (except in the winter) and at the time of the heads I was not planning on replacing the rotating assembly because I did not have any more money to spend and I was a little impatient. However something happened with the crankshaft and it broke and I wish I would have gone with a bigger cam and heads. But I can't undo the past so I'm happy with what I have. In the future I plan to boost my car and I hope to do that with a turbo. But for now I have spent far to much money and it will be some time before I can spend more.

How did you ruin your crankshaft??? Are your heads still good?
