Cool Going non intercooled??

waiting to install my v1 trying to get everything together so im not going back and 4th for retunes or whatever. will i run into any major issues living in either georgia or texas heat with a non ic blown car? and if so are any of you guys runnin the mishimoto line z intercooler that they sell on AM for $149? is it a must living in 90+ degree weather to run an ic or will i be fine non ic?

in asking bc also on the vortec support site it says the centri is efficient enough to go non ic but they do sell intercoolers. just wanted some real world information

I would not run a blower/turbo without one in San Antonio. dor the 300 or so that it costs to build one... its worth it.

if you DONT run a I/C you car will be useless 10 min after you turn it on....

Once that blower gets heat soaked from just operating temps (compression creats heat BTW) you will be probally making a little more power then a stock mustang... just because of you IATs...

got it. do you guys know if the one on AM is worth giving a try bc i was told that ya dont really need to run a large one like the cx on AM they have one the size of the one cx sells and they also have a smaller one bc i see the twin screws dont really have a large ic

I would put one on there that cools enough per your blower specs. call vortec and ask if they would share that info with you.
