Same as Cliffy, I got the PP combo and everything's been good for a few years now. And just like any other name, I'm sure there's gotta be somebody out there with bad (legit) Accufab story.

Cliff, its that red powdercoat that makes the power...not the tb/plenum combo.

Yup--the only color that would be better would be royal purple; good for +20HP at least...

Smile For those on a 200$ budget....

Professional Products 75mm Polished Throttle Body on Ebay by seller performancegroup 80.00$ plus 14.95$ shipping.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Profe...Q5fAccessories

Trickflow Non-PowderCoated Plenum 99.99$ + ?$ shipping from Late Model Resto

http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/item/TFS-518B0001

I will paint it the same color as my car (white)

BadaBUM Bada BAM

Think of it this way 200$ setup +8~or so whp vs 400$ setup +10~or so whp (2whp) more = 100$ per 1/hp not worth it to me

You also gotta factor in there the price of paint and you'll have to get good under hood paint cus it gets awfully hawt under there. Powder coating might also be a route to look into and that's $100. Just letting you know. And with accufab youre getting a quality piece and more performance.

heres my 2 cents. Accufab. Reason being, i bought the PP upper....and its crap....which means if its the same as trick flow, its also crap. The acc. is probebly the single nicest thing on my car, and i didnt get it because it was chrome, i didnt acctually want chrome. But the unit is built really well, everything looks very well put together, with high quality parts. Got the PP upper, and all it is is a casting.

So not gonne be perfect, but when i tried lining it up with the TB, had to shave almost an 1/8 off part of the upper to get it to not have a big ledge that the air smacks right into. Not to mention the casting was so rough that i had to grind some of the casting mark to reseble a smoothish surface. Over all i just thought the fit and finish was crap. I havnt bought an accufab upper, but i imagine if i bolted it up, everything would line up like its supposed to, and im sure the inside is smooth.
