Drag radials
Any one running proxes TQs? and what kind of 60 foot times are people getting with there DRs, with factory suspension, preferable 99-04 so i know what im looking at. Also anyone use the new NT05 yet? also trying to figure out if the TQs are better than the 555s. I want to say the TQs are more in line with the NT05 but i might be wrong...

Proxes TQ's are a 00 treadwear but they hook just ok. The NT05R's I think is what you are referring to here and they hook like MAD!!! A guy on SVTP is cutting better 60's with the NT05R's in 315 35 17 than he was with hoosier drag radials and slicks on 15" wheels. If you are getting a drag radial for track use only i'd get either the NT05R's or the newer design MT's. Toyo TQ's are just ok. They do better on the street than they do at the track from what I've read on SVTP. They are, after all, a drag radial designed for an independent rear suspension car though. NT05R's get my vote...just saying. And the NT05's are not drag radials, they are meant for the twisties. NT05R's are the drag radials. Its just one of those pet peeves that i see all the time so I just feel the need to correct it. lol

I see guys in the 10s on a regular basis on MT DRs.
Edit: not many new edge mustangs, but it gives you an idea of what they are capable of. With the right suspension, I don't see why you shouldn't hook 1.6-7 range on them

my problem isnt finding them cheep, its keeping them cheep. I cant pay cash for stuff right now meaning it has to go on my schwab account. They add freight and of course thier mark up, and its over 200 a tire, seemed like 250. Sounds like a rip off, well it is. But money talks, and i dont got it. I know i could get them for cheeper than what they found. I paid 178 a tire for the TQ, and thats cause they are a proxes dealer.
