Default Engine degreaser?

First things first, got my tuner, gears and k&n air filter in today
After getting the tune on and air filter in just a few questions. First the tune, which I do like a lot, I think the shift points are just a little too firm so on the adjustments I am assuming I want to dial it down pressure wise into the negatives? The options I have for it are like -25 to +25 . I would just trial and error but don't really want to burn the rest of my tank of gas on just this one thing. This leads me to the thread title upon installing the air filter which is snug as a glove I might add I found oput that I need to degrease my engine bay. What products have you guys had the most luck/confidence with?

wanna know what works really good?

rinse your engine off. Get a can of Black Magic Tire shine (the foam type) and spray the whole engine until its covered in the foamy tire shine. wait about 10 minutes in the shade, then rinse off. gets the motor nice and shiny every time

I think -25 means less "firmness."

Yeah, 4.10s. They are going in tomorrow! When you spray the simple green do you just spray soak and rinse or spray scrub and rinse.
