I have a 96 gt 5-speed with a pi intake swap,4.10 gears, and everything else is pretty much stock with 128k miles on it that Im think about selling to my dad for 3500 and buying a 94 cobra with a 306 with 46k miles on it, b303 cam, long tube headers, o/r x-pipe,flowmasters, msd distributer, msd wires, msd coil, king cobra clutch c&l cold air intake, brembo front rotors, for $4800 in really god condition with black leather. Do you guys think its a good deal or should I just keep the 96 and mod it?

 

The way I see it I was planning on doing the cobra brake swap on my 96 so that alone is $1000+, I think the 5.0 is easier to mod not to mention the motor in the cobra with everything done to it makes more power than my 96, found out the cobra has keith black pistons(anyone know anything about them?) I was also looking to put leather in my 96 and this one has it already, the only thing about the cobra is its red and it looks kinda pink in the pics and I hope its not single stage paint that has faded real bad.

What I had planed for the 96 is to keep the motor stock till it blew than put the 5.0 k member in it and put a 5.0 in the 96 because those motors are cheaper to get power out of imo. than just do full suspension on it and autox it.
