Mine tries then I point out how much she spends on shoes, clothes, make-up and b.s. throughout the year and she usually backs down a little

what is the "body work fund?"

sumi's are terrible. and of course you know they will definitely last more than one year of driving, so do you just plan on throwing them away for nittos next summer? i say get the nittos and avoid having to buy tires for awhile.

Back in April I backed into my Dads BMW and caused 800 bucks worth of damage on the rear passenger side wheel well. I think I posted a pic of it on here after it happened but I will try and see if I can find one later on. I know that the sumihomos are terrible and that they will last longer than a year but its used as a commuter car right now and I don't want to burn up good tires for BS highway miles before it becomes a garage queen. I'm planning on making the American Muscle car show a big event between my friends that live within the area on the forum and with a bunch of my buddies with mustangs at home. So the tires and "body work" are the two issues that absolutely need to be addressed before it happens.

I would buy the cheapest tires I could find. Call a few local tire places they may have some cheaper than the Sumi's. Their going on the front of the car so they don't have to be the best.

Sumi's or something cheaper, save money for body work, when time comes to get tires buy Nittos then sell the Sumi's (assuming they are not beat to hell and recoupe some money)

I dont see a point putting good tires on when you know they will be eaten up without CC plates, regardless if Sumi's "suck" relatively speaking compared to Nittos.
