Default Engine Builders in Houston area?

I'm wondering if anyone knows a good reputable enginebuilder in the Houston area. Any replies are appreciated. Thanks a bunch.

Yes, Houston is the meca of performance cars, but finding a trustworthy enginebuilder is a whole different matter. I'm hoping someone can give me input of a reputable enginebuilder. Again, any replies will be appreciated.

A bud of mine just opened a shop complete with dyno. He is an AWESOME guy and VERY honest. He has an 8 second turbo fox.

I heard too many negative things about Strictly Performance, so they are off my lists.

Dont go to a performance shop for an engine build, go to a machine shop. If you want a precise build...a machine shop will do it right.
